Lena Walliman

Clinical Director and founder of Lena Walliman And Associates, Lena is a qualified General Nurse registered with the Nursing and Midwifery council and specialises in complex community care of severely disabled individuals. She has consistently worked in the complex care sector over the last 7 years, managing clinically complex care packages.

After qualifying as a nurse from the University of the West of England in Bristol she worked as a community nurse.  Following this, Lena practiced as a Enteral Specialist Nurse and later moved to Musgrove Park Hospital where she practiced as a Nutrition Nurse Specialist.

Lena then returned to the community as a Parenteral Nutrition Nurse for Fresenius Kabi managing the provision and administration for total parenteral nutrition and intravenous antibiotic therapy.

From this she moved into complex home care, first as the head of nursing and governance and then to founding and setting up three successful new complex care provisions across the South of England – providing care packages for adults and children with complex clinical needs, in addition to providing Case management services across the UK.
 
Lena also returned to the NHS setting for a short period, working as an Intensive Care Nurse to support during the Covid 19 Pandemic.

Ali Pipe

Ali has over 30 years’ experience in the nursing field and exhibits solid evaluation abilities and a current understanding of the formation, management, and recruitment of Complex Care teams.

Her work in the NHS and commercial sectors has given her extensive experience and understanding in the fields of palliative care, spinal cord injury, brain injuries, cerebral palsy, neurological conditions and palliative care.

Ali remains current in her practice as a senior regional nurse manager, working with a caseload of patients with complex healthcare requirement.  Ali provides leadership and hands on support with recruiting, training, and leading care teams.

Ali has extensive experience of providing care provision for NHS, privately funded and litigation funded clients – working alongside Case Managers and the wider multidisciplinary teams.

Ali specialises in Palliative Care, Oncology, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Complex Care, Cerebral Palsy, Motor Neurone Disease, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson’s Disease, Ventilation and BIPAP, Gastroenterological and Genetic conditions.
